Questions
What is an acceptance letter for the CSC scholarship?
An acceptance (pre-admission) letter is a short letter from a professor at a Chinese university saying they agree to supervise you. Many Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) applications are stronger with one, and it is always free.
Is China Supervisor Finder free?
Yes. Searching, ranking, paper links and the email draft are free. Only the optional search for publicly listed emails uses a paid Tavily key, which you add yourself.
Where does the professor data come from?
From OpenAlex, a free open database of scholarly papers. It lists paper authors, not a verified list of professors, so always check a professor's title on their university faculty page.
How should I email a Chinese professor?
Read one of their recent papers first, then write a short personal email that mentions it, explains your background and asks if they would accept you as a student. Write to each professor individually and never send bulk emails.
Use it responsibly
Write to each professor individually, after reading their work. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed acceptance letter or scholarship. Real acceptance letters come free, directly from the professor.
