What the app does with your information

• Your details for the email draft (name, email, country, degree) are used only to write the draft on your screen. They are not saved on our server and are gone when you close the page.
• API keys you paste in the app are used only for your own searches and are never saved.
• Search topics are sent to OpenAlex, a free scholarly database, to find papers and professors. If you use the optional contact search, professor names are sent to Tavily, a web search service. Search results are cached for a short time to make repeat searches faster.
• The app is hosted on Streamlit Community Cloud, which may keep basic technical logs.
